 Jan is running for a second City Council term as in-district representative for the Fourth District.

Kansas City, Missouri holds elections every four years.   In these elections 12 City Council members are elected, as is the mayor.  Each can serve two consecutive four-year terms.  City Council members are elected as in-district (voted on by district residents only) or at large (voted on by the entire City electorate).
